Our Globalisation Platform Engineering organisation's mission is to lead the internationalisation and localisation of Workday products and peripheral content. About the Role
Collaborate closely with our product and engineering leads on defining the future platforms for Workday to achieve our internationalisation and localisation strategies. Use your stellar software engineering skills and experience to accelerate delivery of Workday's globalisation technologies to continue expanding our global offerings.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- You're proficient with an object oriented (OO) language (e.g. Java) and object-oriented design principals.
- You have developed solutions in Python 3, using common libraries like boto3, pytest or fast-api.
Other Qualifications:
- Experience working as part of an agile (Kanban or Scrum) engineering team.
- Experience developing APIs and service oriented architectures.
- l10n, i18n or g11n experience is a bonus
- Machine Translation, ML, LLM or other AI experience is a bonus
- Basic familiarity with developing and deploying public cloud solutions (e.g.AWS or GCP)
- Familiar with git, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Gemini, Outlook
- Familiarity with Xpresso is a bonus
