Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Design Manager to join our consultancy team, where you will manage the design delivery of Bus Connects projects. In this role, you will managing the full design process and act as a key interface with the client.

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Engineer with 8+ years of experience, a strong understanding of infrastructure project delivery, and proven skills in design coordination, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of Bus Connects projects.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery meets scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams to drive collaboration and performance.
  • Coordinate the work of specialist sub-consultants

Qualifications

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) with Engineers Ireland or equivalent recognised professional body.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, roads, or transport infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability in client and stakeholder engagement
