Data Operations Analyst | About You 

As a Data Operations Analyst, you are responsible for managing the ongoing operational processes that keep data platforms running smoothly and reliably. You are detail‑oriented, highly process‑driven, and skilled at maintaining strong data quality standards across recurring workflows. You enjoy working with structured data, investigating issues, and ensuring platform health through proactive monitoring and clear documentation. You collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, helping teams stay aligned with governance expectations and SLA commitments. You thrive in an organized, structured environment where operational excellence and consistency are the top priorities. 

Data Operations Analyst | Day-to-Day 

  • Execute recurring data operations tasks, including quality checks, reconciliations, and issue monitoring. 
  • Track SLAs, document governance processes, and maintain operational runbooks and standards. 
  • Monitor data pipelines and dashboards to proactively identify anomalies or data quality concerns. 
  • Support governance forums with reporting, updates, and follow‑ups on actions and decisions. 
  • Collaborate with BI, analytics, and data engineering teams to diagnose and resolve operational issues. 
  • Maintain clear documentation covering processes, data definitions, workflows, and governance requirements. 

Data Operations Analyst | Skills & Experience 

  • 5+ years of experience in data operations, data quality, analytics operations, or a related data‑focused role. 
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation, querying, and diagnosing inconsistencies. 
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. 
  • Proven experience supporting data operations or analytics teams in structured, process‑driven environments. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data integrity issues. 
  • Excellent documentation skills and comfort maintaining governance, operational, or procedural artifacts. 
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization.
