Position Overview 

Autodesk Emerging Business Customer Success is seeking a Data Strategy and Insights Manager to develop and sustain a data strategy that delivers actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making at both executive and team levels. This role is critical in shaping how the business measures success, providing a single source of truth for business health, performance, and customer impact. 

This role will be instrumental in curating, prioritizing, and implementing data initiatives to support EBCS, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in reporting. 

You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal data governance teams, data engineers, and key stakeholders to develop a scalable data strategy that delivers meaningful insight dashboards for EBCS. This strategy will not only provide a comprehensive view of EBCS performance but also seamlessly integrate data from newly acquired businesses, ensuring a unified approach to measuring success.  

Responsibilities 

  • Develop & Sustain Data Strategy: Build and execute a data strategy that delivers actionable insights for executive and team-level reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making

  • Prioritize & Implement Insight Projects: Identify, prioritize, and execute data and insight initiatives that align with EBCS objectives

  • Drive Automation & Efficiency: Implement automation practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in reporting across the organization

  • Curate Business Health Insights: Aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources to provide a holistic view of the business 

  • Develop Visualizations & Dashboards: Partner with a data engineer and governance teams to design and maintain dashboards that align with EBCS KPIs, ensuring insights are actionable and accessible

  • Collaborate & Problem-Solve: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to translate data into compelling narratives that showcase business performance

  • Technical Strategy & Execution: Leverage a technical background to collaborate with data engineers in developing robust data solutions that meet business needs

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Proven expertise in technical data strategy, with the ability to navigate complex data sets and collaborate across multiple teams to deliver meaningful, actionable insights

  • Extensive experience in data strategy, analytics, or business intelligence, ideally within a customer success or emerging business environment, though not mandatory

  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and advanced SQL experience , along with other data querying languages

  • Experience implementing automated reporting and analytics to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a curious and analytical mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $108,400 and $187,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $95,300 and $139,700. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
