About the Role:
As our Data Analyst you will join an established team within OptumRx responsible for managing our network pharmacy pricing guarantees. You will provide financial modelling and analytics related to the performance of effective rate pricing guarantees, specific to the Commercial business. You will work with internal stakeholders to drive to best outcomes and ensure alignment with our pharmacy contractual obligations.
Within the role, you will build relationships with our partners and stakeholders across many functions, including Network Contracting, Client Contract Management, Finance, Legal and more.
We're looking for someone with a quantitative mindset, attention to detail, a solid aptitude for complex problem solving, industry experience, and well-developed communication and technical skills.

- Support the monitoring and reporting of pricing guarantees for network pharmacies within Optum's Commercial book of business
- Produce and maintain financial models and projections, ensuring inputs, assumptions, and calculations are accurate, well documented, and reviewed regularly
- Collaborate with internal partners to gather required inputs and ensure models reflect contractual and operational considerations, maintaining a solid focus on precision and consistency in results
- Identify data issues, emerging trends, or potential risks and escalate appropriately with clear supporting analysis
- Communicate findings clearly through written summaries, reports, and presentations tailored to internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
- Proven solid experience with SQL and/or Python, with the ability to perform effective and efficient querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
- Demonstrated communication skills, able to work with stakeholders from multiple levels and disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience with MS Azure
- Proven PBM or Pharma experience
- Proven experience in financial modelling
- Proven ability to be comfortable analyzing and interpreting large volumes of data
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex scenarios and quickly provide effective decisions
