Lexmark is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Product Owner to join our dynamic team. As a Cybersecurity Product Owner, you will be responsible for the development and management of our security products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of cybersecurity and performance. Your expertise in network practices and cybersecurity will be crucial in driving the success of our cybersecurity controls. You will act as the liaison between the Cybersecurity team and other departments, ensuring that cybersecurity requirements are met before releasing changes. You will also be responsible for managing product backlogs, conducting backlog refinement meetings, and monitoring the development and release process. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the voice of security to set expectations and communicate product updates to stakeholders and product managers 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a deep understanding of the technologies and systems supported by our cybersecurity products 

  • Build and maintain the product roadmap based on strategy and ongoing input from stakeholders and product managers 

  • Highlight and document epics and features in a manner that is clearly understandable to the development team 

  • Manage and develop product backlog and review user stories for implementation 

  • Conduct refinement meetings with teams  

  • Attend sprint planning and demo meetings to give feedback on sprint achievement 

  • Attend change advisory board (CAB) meetings to give feedback and approval on change requests 

  • Monitor the development and release process of our cybersecurity products 

  • Communicate with requestors and end-users to gather information on expected product features 

  • Measure performance and provide reports to update management and stakeholders on deliverables 

  • Analyze feedback to determine new epic, feature or components that will add value to the product 

  • Assess overall cybersecurity to identify areas that require improvements 

  • Ensure implemented product features improve overall cybersecurity and add value to Lexmark 

 

Must-have Qualifications: 

  • Experience as Product Owner or similar leadership role in the cybersecurity or network industry. 

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles. 

  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing, collaborative environment 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and a minimum of 1-3 years’ direct experience with Agile teams, as well as 5 years’ experience in business, cybersecurity, information technology, or consulting. 

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas, issues, and designs clearly and effectively to varied audiences. 

  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to lead teams to push solutions and progress. 

  • Growth mindset, willingness to learn and a drive for innovation amongst volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with Scaled Agile framework for enterprise development and methodologies 

  • Strong knowledge of network practices 

 

Preferred Certifications: 

  • Certified Product Owner 

  • PMI: Project Manager 

  • CISSP: Certified Information Systems Security Professional  

  • CCSP: Certified Cloud Security Professional
