We're looking for a CSE Solution Engineer to join our team in Ireland. In this role, you'll provide technical expertise throughout the sales and delivery process, developing innovative lift and escalator solutions that meet customer requirements while ensuring compliance with industry standards and KONE's high-quality expectations. 

What you'll be doing 

  • Provide technical support to the Sales team by developing practical, cost-effective solutions for customers.  

  • Produce technical specifications, AutoCAD layouts, estimates and delivery schedules for customer projects.  

  • Conduct technical site surveys and assess project requirements to develop the most suitable solution.  

  • Act as the technical point of contact for customers, consultants, architects and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.  

  • Prepare and manage project drawings, material specifications and technical documentation.  

  • Coordinate with KONE supply teams and suppliers to ensure materials and project timelines are aligned.  

  • Support a smooth handover of projects to the Operations team for successful delivery.  

  • Ensure all proposed solutions comply with relevant legislation, safety standards and company procedures. 

What we're looking for 

  • A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline 

  • Previous experience in a technical engineering role, ideally within construction, building services or a related industry.  

  • Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret customer requirements and develop practical engineering solutions.  

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders.  

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with AutoCAD and SAP would be advantageous.  

  • Experience within the lift or escalator industry would be beneficial but is not essential.
