We are looking for a talented business intelligence developer to join our team and help us analyze, drive and scale our business.

What you’ll do
  • Overall responsibility for managing the Firm’s information and communications technology which the Firm relies upon.

  • Responsibility for the development and implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy; ensuring the efficient and secure operation of ICT systems; oversight of delivery of ICT projects; and management and development of ICT resources, where relevant.

  • Provide oversight and assurance of the outsourced technology services provided by the other entities in the Trading 212 Group, ensuring that the services delivered to the Firm are robust, scalable, and secure. This will include regularly reporting to the Firm's Board of Directors through the governance structure.

  • Ensuring the Firm is resilient against failures arising from technology and security failures.

  • Maintaining compliance with the EBA’s Digital Operational Resilience Regulation (DORA) requirements, including establishing and maintaining the “register of information”, ICT inventories and ICT outsourcing registers.

  • Champion and drive technology changes required to support the effective and efficient operation and delivery of the Firm's services to its customers.

  • Help define, actively drive, and contribute to the Trading 212 Group's technology and information security programmes, including identifying, selecting and managing technology vendors and appraising onboarding of vendors technology risks.

  • Act as the local point of IT contact, providing day-to-day support to the Firm's employees.

  • Liaise with the Central Bank of Ireland on any operational resiliency, redundancy or other IT/System related queries.

  • Responsible for information security, application, network and desktop support.

What you need to have:
  • Educated to degree level with excellent academic background in specific areas of IT related expertise.

  • Previous experience as a PCF-49; CIO; CTO; Head of IT; Head of Engineering; IT Director; CISO.

  • Previous experience within financial services (MiFID investment firm - equity and CFD trading/brokerage, including systematic internalisers and algorithms) or CBI regulated Fintech industry would be highly desirable.

  • High standards of conduct and ethics.

  • A “right first time” attitude and excellent attention to detail.

  • Capable of working independently or as a part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • An IT generalist with good knowledge of desktop support, infrastructure, networking, outsourcing, cybersecurity, operational resiliency, business continuity, redundancy, documentation management (policies, procedures, ICT risk registers).
