About the role   

An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Corporate finance team.  

Davy Corporate Finance is a central part of our Capital Markets business and the market leader in corporate advisory in Ireland. Our clients include Ireland’s leading public and private companies. We advise more than 75% of companies on Euronext Dublin and we act as an adviser to London listed companies, being the only Irish firm authorised to act as sponsor and Nominated Adviser for companies seeking, or maintaining, a listing on the London Stock Exchange. 

Our work encompasses providing financial advisory services (initial public offerings, private and public company fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, debt advisory and restructuring, management and leveraged buyouts, disposals, company valuations and general strategic advice) to our clients across a wide range of industry verticals (financial services, food, healthcare, industrial, property, gaming, transport, leisure, technology and renewables). 


In the role, the successful candidate will: work as part of a team on a wide range of corporate finance transactions. You will provide execution support on transactions involving Davy clients and other professionals contributing to the continued success of Davy Corporate Finance. 

  • Provide support to senior colleagues on various corporate finance transactions 
  • Act collaboratively and work closely with managers as part of transaction and origination teams to undertake research, prepare documentation and attend meetings as required 
  • Interact with Davy clients and other professionals, building relationships and presenting a positive image of Davy. 
  • Contribute effectively to overall skills mix in the department. 
  • Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role 

About you 

  

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:  


  • Up to one year's experience of working in Corporate Finance or other relevant discipline. 
  • A business/finance degree or Masters qualification. 
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). 
  • Ability to act on own initiative. 
  • High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail. 
  • Excellent information technology capability, including a high level of competence in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
