About your role: 
 
This is a pivotal role within our Marketing team, where you will be the creative engine driving the visual communication and content strategy for our growing Net Zero Solutions portfolio. You will be responsible for conceptualising and executing compelling design solutions across all platforms, from digital to print, that effectively communicate the benefits and impact of our energy efficiency products and services. You will be a key contributor to our brand's evolution in the sustainability space, pushing creative boundaries and crafting award-worthy campaigns that resonate with our target audiences

Key Responsibilities: 

Creative Concept Development:  

  • Lead the ideation and development of innovative and impactful creative concepts for services & solutions campaigns, and ongoing promotions. 
  • Translate complex technical information into visually engaging and easily digestible content. 
  • Stay ahead of design trends and sustainability communication best practices. 

Graphic Design & Visual Communication:  

  • Design and produce high-quality visual assets for website, social media, brochures, presentations, event materials, and advertising campaigns, ensuring brand consistency.  
  • Create compelling infographics, data visualizations, and interactive content to showcase the impact of our net-zero solutions.  
  • Design and implement engaging email marketing templates and campaigns.  
  • Develop interactive display suite and HTML5 banner advertisements.  
  • Manage and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring all materials adhere to brand standards.  
  • Ensure all marketing collateral is designed to be used across multiple platforms. 

Content Creation & Storytelling:  

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams, as well as external creative agencies and copywriter to develop engaging content that tells the story of our net-zero solutions and their positive impact. 
  • Craft compelling narratives that connect with audiences on an emotional level. 
  • Adapt content for various platforms and target audiences. 

Net Zero Focus:  

  • Develop a deep understanding of the net zero energy market and Bord Gais Energy's role within it. 
  • Ensure all content and design accurately reflects the benefits of our net zero products. 

Here's what we’re looking for: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer or Content Creator, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative concept development and execution. 
  • Proven ability to create award-winning design concepts and campaigns. 
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects). 
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles, including UX/UI and responsive design. 
  • Video creation and editing experience is desirable. 
  • Experience in the sustainability or energy sector is a plus. 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
