This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Ireland's leading communications consultancies, working across an enviable portfolio of consumer brands including SuperValu, Aer Lingus, Fáilte Ireland, Center Parcs, Samsung, Primark, Circle K, Centra, Frank & Honest and more.

As a Consultant you'll play a central role in leading the day-to-day delivery of integrated communications campaigns, acting as a trusted advisor to clients, managing projects from brief to evaluation, and helping develop the next generation of talent within the team.

Working alongside experienced senior leaders, you'll help shape strategic campaigns, build strong client relationships and deliver creative work that drives meaningful business results.

Responsibilities

This role is integral to the successful management of client accounts and campaign delivery. You will be expected to take ownership of projects, proactively identify opportunities and provide excellent day-to-day client service.

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, becoming a trusted point of contact across multiple accounts.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of integrated communications campaigns from brief through to execution and evaluation.
  • Produce high-quality client-ready materials including communications strategies, presentations, press materials, messaging documents, reports and campaign evaluations.
  • Develop creative campaign ideas rooted in consumer insights and cultural trends.
  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets and multiple workstreams, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Lead media relations programmes, as well as content creator strategies, developing strong relationships with journalists, broadcasters, influencers and content creators.
  • Confidently pitch stories and secure impactful earned media coverage across consumer, lifestyle and broadcast media.
  • Confidently brief influencer agents as well as content creators themselves, communicating the needs of the client in a way that will work well with the creators.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Identify opportunities to add value to client accounts beyond the original brief.
  • Support new business activity including research, proposal development and pitch presentations.
  • Mentor and support Associate Consultants / Account Executives, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
  • Positively contribute to the culture, development and success of Teneo Strategy Ireland.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years' experience in PR, communications or integrated marketing.
  • Strong experience managing consumer PR campaigns from strategy through execution.
  • Excellent understanding of the Irish media landscape, influencers and content creators.
  • Demonstrable experience building strong client relationships and confidently managing day-to-day communications.
  • Strong media relations skills with a track record of securing quality earned coverage.
  • Excellent writing skills across a variety of communications formats.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how communications supports wider business objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting new business opportunities and pitch development.
  • A relevant third-level qualification in Communications, PR, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Comfortable communicating via phone conversations, as well as excellent written skills.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, and project management skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
  • Clued-in, sees the bigger picture, and has a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to produce polished client presentations and reports.
