We are looking for a Compliance Monitoring and Safety Engineer to join our Aviation Engineering team. This role reports to the Compliance Monitoring Manager and Safety Manager within CAE’s regulated services.

Role responsibilities

  • Liaising with IAA, EASA and other national authorities as required.
  • Planning and carrying out compliance and safety audits in accordance with approved procedures for CAE’s services, including our CAMO, Borescope, and Part 21 services.
  • Assist in the management of Safety Reports, Safety Risk Assessments and the oversight of the implementation and effectiveness of control measures.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of compliance and safety are met across our regulated services at all times.
  • Updating approved company manuals, ensuring they reflect the latest regulatory requirements and findings from authorities.
  • Ensuring all personnel training is current as well as identifying and facilitating additional training, as required.
  • All other regulatory and quality related functions as required.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of three years in a Continuing Airworthiness environment (Part 145 / Part CAMO / Part M).
  • Have a strong technical background with experience in the aviation industry such as a relevant Engineering or Technical degree or an Aircraft Technician or Maintenance Engineer qualification.
  • Previous experience in the quality department of an airline or other aviation company an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment in which CAE Parc Aviation operates.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally and with different nationalities and cultures.
  • Proven enthusiasm, character and skills required to motivate others.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure and deal with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
