Role Overview
We're looking for a motivated person to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years’ experience in compliance, legal, or risk to take on more responsibility, learn fast, and grow into a more senior role.
You’ll work closely with and be supported by our Chief Risk Officer, gaining hands-on experience across many areas of Compliance. You’ll have real ownership over your work while still having guidance and mentorship as you grow.
This is a Controlled Function under the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity regime .
Key ResponsibilitiesYou won’t be expected to know everything on day one — but you’ll be given the support to grow into responsibilities like:
Supporting the implementation and improvement of compliance frameworks (insurance distribution, data protection, financial crime).
Monitoring changes in regulation and helping ensure we stay aligned.
Assisting with internal audit coordination, compliance monitoring and testing risk assessments, and reporting activities.
Helping develop and deliver compliance training to the team.
Contributing to anti-money laundering (AML/CFT) policies and procedures.
Supporting the Fitness and Probity process under CRO guidance.
Collaborating with product, engineering, and sales teams to embed compliance into everyday operations.
Preparing documentation for internal reporting and regulator communications.
Getting involved in new product and market launches from a compliance perspective.
3+ years experience in compliance, risk, or legal roles within the insurance, insurtech, or financial services sector.
Are curious, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges.
Enjoy learning about regulation and how it fits into modern business practices.
Communicate clearly and comfortably across teams.
Are organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
Are excited by the pace and opportunity of an early-stage company.
Relevant qualifications in compliance, risk management, or financial regulation (e.g., LCOI, ICA, ACAMS, or similar).
