Job Description Summary Responsible for all business support in relation to compliance and regulatory matters, policy drafting and review, regulatory change management and compliance support for new product approval. As a member of the Compliance & AML UK, European and Asia Pacific  team, assist and support the team in their oversight of GP’s compliance  activities. Acts as a compliance & AML expert for the ROI business. Responsible for data gathering and report creation for the relevant governing bodies.Summary of the RolePerforms and assists in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to the ROI. Ensures all regulatory reporting is met. Reviews and sets business regulatory requirements criteria across the range of segments and products. Ensures performance tracking and evaluation. Responsible for data gathering or manipulation, report creation, system or process creation and implementation. Mitigation can be defined as adapting and enforcing sound regulatory & AML policies, maintaining adherence to all regulations and strategies published by legal/ regulatory bodies, training and engaging team members and leaders and developing strong data delivery and reporting in support of all contractual obligations.
What Part Will You Play?
  • Ensure all regulatory reporting requirements are met and work with finance and IT to ensure the right statistics are created and reported correctly

  • Advise the Business on applicable regulatory requirements. Engage with the business and manage their queries and requests on regulatory matters.

  • Observing and evaluating the national regulatory developments and jurisdictions relevant to the Ireland business and assisting with implementation of operational processes designed to address such changes (Regulatory Horizon scanning)

  • Monitoring, controlling and evaluating compliance & AML risks

  • Contact for the law enforcement authorities, the local financial supervisory authorities, relevant associations as well as Employees and operating units on the aspect of Compliance and Anti-money laundering

  • Design, manage and execute a local Compliance Monitoring Program including supporting the compliance team in their execution of monitoring and control actions 

  • Organisation and implementation of Compliance & money laundering prevention  trainings for new joiners and refresher training for existing staff  

  • Participate in business and regulatory projects as subject matter expert for Compliance & AML

  • Act as the MLRO for the Irish branch.
