The Team

As a Community Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in championing our driver engagement efforts and strengthening our brand presence across markets. This role is key to building thriving driver communities, boosting availability, and ensuring drivers feel valued, heard, and empowered.

From organizing community events and loyalty programs to managing driver communications and surfacing feedback, this is a hands-on role for someone who’s passionate about community building and knows how to turn insight into impact.

Responsibilities

  • Community Building & Advocacy: Grow Welcome Pickups' presence in driver communities, online and offline. Build strong relationships with ambassadors and host community events to foster loyalty and trust.
  • Driver Engagement & Incentives: Design campaigns, challenges, and loyalty programs to boost driver activity and retention. Ensure timely, structured communication about updates and opportunities.
  • Content & Communication: Lead content across newsletters, in-app messages, and social media. Create clear, inspiring content aligned with brand tone and business goals.
  • Feedback & Satisfaction Monitoring: Track driver sentiment through surveys, support data, and community interactions. Share insights with internal teams and act on feedback to improve engagement.
  • Availability & Retention Strategy: Address barriers to driver availability with geo-targeted and seasonal strategies. Support organic growth through referral and community-driven recruitment.
Requirements
  • 4–6 years of experience in community management, engagement marketing, or related roles (preferably in the gig economy or marketplace sectors)
  • Exceptional communication, event management, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven experience with digital community platforms (Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp)
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to engagement strategies
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (Spanish, French, Greek) highly desirable
