Join our EMEA Compliance Surveillance team, where you will monitor and analyze sales, trading, and banking activities, ensuring compliance with the Firm's policies and legal/regulatory requirements. As part of the Communications Surveillance team, you will work closely with various Compliance teams and groups across the Firm, utilizing electronic tools and integrative techniques to detect potential violations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the integrity of our operations and collaborate with key stakeholders.
As a Communications Surveillance Analyst - Vice President in Dublin, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for monitoring electronic and telephone communications. Your role is crucial in detecting potential market abuse and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will engage with business-aligned compliance teams and technology partners, carrying out thorough reviews and ad hoc searches to maintain the integrity of our operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review communications surveillance alerts on a daily basis across different asset classes.
- Perform thorough reviews of communication content and research relevant information.
- Engage with business-aligned compliance teams, surveillance technology partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Carry out ad hoc reviews and searches.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and products.
- Excellent analytical and risk assessment skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent investigative instincts and experience in reviewing communications.
- Ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders and technology partners.
- Initiative and judgment, with the ability to prioritize conflicting demands, be proactive, well-organized, and work under pressure.
- Skills to work with management and forge strong partnerships with colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with a readiness to share knowledge.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Degree or overseas equivalent is desirable but not essential.
- Non-English language skills are essential.
- Strong people skills.
