We're seeking a passionate Communications and Events Lead to join our team in Dublin and drive internal communications and events and programming to engage and support our International employees. Reporting to the Global Head of Internal Communications and Events, you will support the needs of international team members ensuring continuity with our global strategy while promoting a cohesive, vibrant, and inclusive culture.

In this role, you'll partner with the global internal communications and events team to ensure alignment on key company messaging, deliver regional campaigns that resonate with local audiences, and support leadership in engaging and connecting with non-US employees. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a communications and events strategy that's creative, employee-focused, and tailored to our dynamic international regions and employees. 

You'll Get To…

  • Internal Communications: Develop and execute a strategic communications plan for all locations outside the US, aligned with global goals but designed with a regional lens. Partner with cross-functional teams to create compelling, clear, and effective messaging for all employees.
  • Employee Experience & Events: Plan, manage, and execute a calendar of internal events and experiential activities that strengthen employee connection, morale, and alignment. This includes regional all-hands, team-building events, and other culture-building initiatives tailored to the needs and interests of our Non US teams.
  • Support: Partner with Senior Leadership/Site Leads in our Non US offices to support their communications and events needs and ensure consistent, authentic communication and events. Also help manage and facilitate executive visits to give employees an opportunity to connect with and hear from them. 
  • Content Development: Craft engaging content across multiple channels, including emails, intranet, all hands meeting presentations, local in-office screens and signage, and other employee-facing communications. You'll partner with local leaders to ensure messages are culturally relevant, resonant, and inspiring.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global teams across Communications, Talent Brand, the People team and more to ensure Non US programs are aligned with Squarespace's broader internal communications and events strategy.
  • Partnership & Building Relationships: Establish strong relationships and partner closely with local and global partners across various teams including Workplace Services, People Partners, People Operations, AV / IT, and more. 

Who We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, and events.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing creative communication strategies for diverse and distributed teams.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills with an ability to convey complex information in a clear and relatable way.
  • Experience with planning and executing employee events that are memorable, culturally inclusive, and engaging.
  • Experience influencing and partnering with senior leadership across regions.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and understanding of global business landscapes.
  • Support regional talent brand needs, candidate-facing storytelling and campaign creation.
