This Role:

The Commercial Operations Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the commercial team by supporting RFQs (Requests for Quotations), spot quotes, and other commercial tasks. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries and opportunities.

This role is suitable for candidates with 2-3 years of experience who are eager to further develop their skills and grow within a dynamic team.

Location: Baldonnell, Dublin

Responsibilities:

  • Support, create and process RFQs and spot quotes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance) to gather necessary information for pricing and proposal submissions.
  • Analyse customer requirements and prepare competitive pricing proposals.
  • Maintain and update quotation databases to track historical pricing and win/loss analysis.
  • Assist in contract reviews and commercial negotiations where required.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support commercial decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with internal pricing strategies and policies.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to RFQ conversion rates, pricing trends, and customer feedback.
  • Assist with general administrative and commercial support tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial, sales support, or operations coordination role, preferably within the logistics, transport, or supply chain industry.
  • Experience with RFQs, pricing models, and commercial operations is advantageous.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
