Primary Purpose

Responsible for driving HYG field teams and dealers in the sales execution of EMEA Power Solutions strategy, incorporating traditional battery technologies through to emerging, and future, technologies, delivered through both factory-fitted and aftersales supply and service programmes.

Success in this role is measured against HYG AOP revenue, margin, and dealer adoption rates for current and new technologies, and through dealer and customer satisfaction at the technological and commercial propositions recommended and implemented.

As the dealer-facing sales application expert, the incumbent should provide informed recommendations to leadership concerning customer needs, market trends and innovative solutions to ensure HYG are the market leader in Power Solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsibility for sales of all available Power Solutions products and services, through all channels.
  • Drive and support HYG dealer-facing field teams and dealers in the sale of Power Solutions products and services.
  • Support Major Accounts bid and sales process.
  • Provide input and recommendations to leadership that reflect the state of the market, customer needs, pricing, trends and technological advances.
  • Manage key supplier relationships.

Knowledge Required

  • BA/BSc degree in related discipline desirable but not essential
  • 3-5 years sales experience within MHE and/or energy solutions and/or comparable industries preferred
  • Understanding of complexities of independent distribution network in an international business
  • Experience specific to established, and alternative, energy solutions, e.g., hydrogen fuel cells
  • Product, application and technical knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
