About Us:

Northflank is a production workload platform that gives developers a self-service way to build, deploy, and scale any workload on their cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.). We are a venture-backed company that has raised over $23 million from tier-1 venture capital firms, and our platform is already being used by tens of thousands of developers worldwide.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically-minded recent graduate to join our team as a Solutions Evangelist. In this role, you'll create comprehensive deployment guides and technical content while working directly with customers to ensure their success on the Northflank platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to join a high-growth startup and potentially transition into a software engineering role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality technical guides and documentation showing developers how to deploy popular open-source projects on Northflank

  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical deployment questions from new customers

  • Lead technical onboarding sessions to help customers understand best practices for deploying on Northflank

  • Research and identify popular open-source projects that would benefit from deployment guides on Northflank

  • Become a product expert in Northflank's capabilities and the broader cloud-native ecosystem

  • Assist with technical demos during sales calls and customer meetings

  • Proactively identify common customer pain points and work with the product team to address them

  • Document and share customer success stories and deployment patterns

  • Build relationships with local developer communities through regular meetup attendance and participation

  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to the product team to influence product direction

  • Stay current with cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes best practices

  • Attend industry events and conferences to engage with the developer community (approximately twice per year)

Why you should apply:

  • Opportunity to join a Series A startup backed by top-tier investors

  • Work alongside an exceptional engineering team solving complex problems

  • Clear path to transition into a software engineering  or solutions engineering (customer-facing) role for strong performers

  • Exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies and the broader developer ecosystem

  • Competitive compensation package including equity

  • Remote-first culture with opportunities for in-person collaboration

  • Travel opportunities to attend major industry conferences

Path to Solutions Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure:

While this role focuses primarily on technical content creation and customer success, it offers a unique opportunity to transition into a software engineering or customer-facing solution engineering position at Northflank. Strong performers who demonstrate technical aptitude will have the chance to work closely with our engineering team and potentially move into an engineering role. They’ll also have the option to become a solution engineer, where they will collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs, design tailored technical solutions, and demonstrate product capabilities to drive successful sales engagements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field from a top university or equivalent experience

  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerization (through coursework, personal projects, or internships)

  • Exceptional written communication skills (in English) with ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and DevOps practices

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to a major metropolitan area to participate in local developer communities

Benefits & Compensation:

  • £50-60k (or equivalent)

  • Equity Package

  • Flexible working hours and remote work options.

  • 31 days paid time off annually

  • Comprehensive benefits
