Job Summary

• Design and implement cloud solutions, particularly focusing on the Azure platform.

• Develop, test, and maintain Azure Landing Zones.

• Work closely with application, network, and security teams to align Azure design with business requirements.

• Develop Proof of Concept (PoC) for infrastructure and applications in Azure.

• Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.

• Develop technical roadmaps for Azure cloud implementations.

• Assist in project planning, aligning technical solutions with business objectives.

• Follow and promote standards and best practices for cloud adoption.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Execute Azure cloud strategy and oversee Azure-based solutions.

• Deploy cloud environments for hosting business application services.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Azure design reflects network and security requirements.

• Develop and implement Proof of Concept (PoC) solutions.

• Ensure compliance with security best practices in all cloud architectures.

• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for Azure cloud solutions.

• Align technical solutions with business objectives and mitigate project deviations.

• Promote the reuse of shared approaches and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.

• Experience: 8+ years in cloud architecture, engineering, and IT infrastructure.

• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification.

• Azure Services Expertise: Strong proficiency in App Service, AKS, Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.

• Cloud Architecture Knowledge: Deep understanding of architecture styles, design patterns, and cloud migration strategies.

• Governance and Best Practices: Experience with Azure governance principles, role-based access control, and cost management controls.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform, Azure Resource Manager templates, and Bicep.

• Scripting and Programming: Strong knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, C#, Java, Python, and JavaScript.

• DevOps and Automation: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Security and Compliance: Expertise in identity management, security protocols, and compliance enforcement.

• Monitoring and Diagnostics: Experience in setting up monitoring for Azure-based web applications.

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Communication: Excellent ability to collaborate with stakeholders and convey technical concepts effectively.

Role-Specific Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable Azure cloud solutions.

• Expertise in Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance frameworks.

• Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud architecture.
