Department

To comply with laws and regulations on Know Your Customer (KYC), ING's KYC process consists of 3 phases, Desk Research (requirement analysis), Client Outreach (obtain items from client) and Profile Completion (information processing).

The KYC Client Outreach Team performs the middle phase.

Within ING Switzerland the KYC CO Team falls under Operations and is positioned in between Front Office and the KYC Team.

The KYC CO Team currently consists of 3 FTE, people with KYC knowledge and experience, close to Front Office, aiming to :

Alleviate and Accelerate

- Reduce KYC burden Front Office

- Reduce miscommunication (ask vs delivery)

You will report to the CO Lead who himself reports to the COO of ING CH.

Tasks

As CO Officer your main task is performing CO, i.e. sanity check, obtain info / chase, quick scan delivery, log actions.

- Sanity check client lists (for items already available)

- Perform Client Outreach with consistent chasers

- Quick scan received client information (for missing or incorrect items)

Side tasks

- Plan files in cooperation with Front Office and KYC Team

- Start reviews, initiate KYC forms in KYC Tool

- Other (track progress, advise Front Office on day-to-day issues, ad hoc tasks / projects)

Who are we looking for ?

Experience

Approx. 1 to 4 years experience in the financial sector. Preferably a role within a commercial bank

Education

University bachelor's degree (license) or Master's degree

Accuracy

Ability to scan through sizeable packs of information to flag missing or incorrect items to client and log actions concisely in tracker tool

English

Ability to communicate proficiently in English with clients in writing and occasionally verbally in calls. French is a plus.

Pro-activity

Anticipate potential obstacles, aim to make the process lean and focused for client and ING

Solution minded

Positive mindset to get things done

Knowledge and experience with ING's KYC process is considered a plus.
