The Client Operations Specialist/Manager will join the Client Management Operations team in Dublin on a Fixed Term Contract and will be responsible for providing support to the team leader and our existing operations professionals on a broad range of operational responsibilities including portfolio events for EMEA discretionary accounts and funds, ad hoc operational tasks related to client operational servicing, custodian engagement, regulatory implementation, etc.
In particular:

Managing portfolio events including launch of funds share classes, custodian changes, discretionary accounts on-boarding, in kind and termination

Project managing the implementation of portfolio events across external and internal stakeholders including the portfolio management team, legal, compliance and other relevant support functions

Providing exceptional client service and manage client queries, ensuring they are addressed in a timely and comprehensive fashion

Serve as a first point of contact for operations-related questions/requests

Day-to-day execution and maintenance of a wide array of operational tasks/processes

Continue to develop on existing operational skills and develop subject matter expertise
REQUIRED SKILL SET
We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a strong background in investment operations and a proven track record in managing complex projects and client interactions. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications, experience, and skill set:

Prior knowledge and experience in Investment Operations/Client Operations/Investment Administration.

Previous experience in client relationship management and project management would be advantageous

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and experience in facilitating regulatory requests

Continuously developing operational skills and striving to become a subject matter expert

Demonstrated ability to manage projects and client outreaches under tight deadlines

Strong organizational skills, attention to details and ability to work autonomously and proactively

Proficiency in IT skills, including intermediate Excel skills

Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt communication style to different internal and external audiences

A clear commitment to PIMCO's culture, values, and approach

Proficiency in German and/or Italian is preferred
