Job Description

We are looking for a Corporate Channel Account Manager to be based in Ireland / Northern Ireland. If you are not based in and around this area you must show initiative to relocate in your application.

  • Create, nurture and respond to sales opportunities and close sales orders for Motorola Solutions Video Product Line.

  • Establish quarterly and annual sales objectives in coordination with the Regional Sales Director – UK&I and Senior Sales Director – UK&I.

  • Promote and sell Motorola Solutions products and services through direct customer contact within the assigned geographic territory.

  • Conduct sales calls, schedule “local” promotional work and regularly with discipline track sales activities with all channel, end user and distributors opportunities using Avigilon’s Salesforce.com lead and project tracking software database.

  • Source, qualify, select and manage: AVADs (Avigilon Value Added Distributors), Integrators, and VARs (Value Added Resellers).

  • Oversee and manage the sale of Motorola Solutions products and services within the specified territory.

  • Prepare proposals and quotes named customers and provide them with published prices, and information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates.

  • Work on key deals to help define and oversee how our products are deployed.

  • Provide first level technical guidance to customers (end-users), integrators and partners.

  • Provide product and sales demonstrations to integrators, and end-users to help them understand our products including how and when they should be used according to their specific application.

  • Attend tradeshows and professionally participate in booth duty within the Avigilon booth at various marketing events.

  • Compile data on competitive products and pricing and report it back to head office - maintain working knowledge of competitive offerings.

  • Identify key surveillance market influencers, establish contact with them, and demonstrate to them the superiority and utility of our products.


Basic Requirements
  • Must be in the advised area of Ireland / Northern Ireland to be considered. If not must be willing to relocate.

  • Documented track record of sales performance within a technology environment is required.

  • Business development and account management skills.

  • Effective and proven negotiation skills.

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a C-Level executives.

  • Strong relationship management skills.

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.

  • Highly effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation).

  • Thorough understanding of security sales cycles.

  • Understanding of Commercial accounts, competitive landscape and customer procurement processes.
