Change Manager – Limerick or Dublin

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Change Manager – Limerick or Dublin, a role which will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here are Sysco – keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead the successful adoption of digital and cultural transformation projects and programmes across Sysco Ireland. Priority will focus on the successful implementation of new ways of working and technologies across multiple Ireland Operating Companies. The ideal candidate will apply the Prosci change management methodology to support a smooth transition, minimise business disruption, and ensure strong stakeholder engagement across IT, business operations, and senior leadership.

The Change Manager will lead the change workstream of a project or programme, ensuring a structured approach to stakeholder transition, adoption and culture shift across operating companies in Ireland.

This role will coordinate with leaders, colleagues, partners and change agents within each business unit, to deliver new ways of working and support the people side of change. Acting as the central point of coordination, the Change Manager will align change activities, address organisation-specific challenges, and promote collaboration between local teams and the wider programme.

By applying the Prosci methodology and established best practices, they will drive user adoption, reduce resistance, and ensure the successful embedding of new systems and processes across the Ireland organisation.

The Change Manager will build strong relationships across Sysco Irelands Operating Companies, engaging with colleagues in each business unit to support team transformation and effective change delivery. Their influence will extend from executive leadership through to frontline colleagues. While the role provides a level of autonomy, it must remain aligned with the overarching methodology, PMO governance, and timelines. This position reports directly to the HR Director, Sysco Ireland, with a dotted line to the relevant governance of projects and programmes as they develop.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and execute change management strategies for the implementation of new ways of working for a project or programme across Ireland operating companies.
  • Apply Prosci change management principles to drive user adoption and mitigate resistance.
  • Develop and deliver communication plans, training programmes, and engagement strategies to support transformation.
  • Collaborate with project teams, business leaders, and end-users to identify change impacts and facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Conduct readiness assessments and define action plans to ensure successful adoption.
  • Develop and implement KPIs to measure change effectiveness and user adoption rates.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and hands-on coaching for key stakeholders.
  • Identify and address risks related to change management and user adoption.
  • Provide post-implementation support and ensure continuous improvement in ERP utilisation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cultural and/or digital change and transformation in a complex environment.
  • Strong background in Prosci methodology and other change management frameworks.
  • Experience leading change initiatives in large, multinational organisations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in training and developing change agents within the organisation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Power BI, and project management tools
