MAIN ROLE OVERVIEW:
- Working within the European Scheme Centre of Excellence that covers all scheme related activity, management and operations, this role will be fundamental to delivering card scheme related programmes of work.
MAIN ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans and coordinates all aspects of scheme related projects from initiation through delivery.
- Develops, defines and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of card brand rules, policies and programs sharing knowledge and best practices on card scheme compliance within Elavon.
- Managing card brand compliance by collaborating cross-functionally with business and technology groups to support timely and effective implementation.
- Conducting impact and stakeholder impact evaluations of Card Brand compliance rules, ensuring changes are designed to deliver value and enhance Elavon’s overall product/ business feature capability.
- Advocating for and ensuring technology/process changes are implemented in a timely manner.
- Developing strong and collaborative relationships with our partners to ensure Elavon are best positioned to support our customers and third parties in their efforts to understand and keep pace with regulatory changes.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in Payments / Acquiring / Schemes
- Experience with merchant acquiring, in particular exposure to and knowledge of compliance rules and programmes
- Demonstrable implementation and delivery skills
- Good knowledge or European payments landscape Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking skills and analytics experience
- Demonstrated relationship-building and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
