The Business Unit Administrator is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include contribution to external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Unit Administrator may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs like charge back allocation and time booking reporting. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.
Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all ad hoc administrative tasks, ensuring timely follow-ups and execution across internal stakeholders.

  • Support budget planning cycles by organizing inputs, validating data, and maintaining accurate documentation.

  • Prepare and submit materials to Governance Committees, ensuring alignment with deadlines and required formats.

  • Track open items, follow up with business and finance partners, and escalate delays as needed.

  • Help consolidate and format executive updates, dashboards, and summary decks.

  • Maintain oversight of approvals, submissions, and key operational milestones.

  • Assist with chargeback tracking, placeholder management, and reconciliation efforts.

  • Act as a central point of coordination for internal reporting needs, pulling data from various sources and ensuring consistency.

Requirements:

  • Up to 5 years of relevant business operations or analysis experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) and PowerPoint.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

  • Fluent English – both written and verbal communication must be clear, concise, and professional.

  • Prior experience preparing materials for senior stakeholders or governance forums is a plus.

  • High attention to detail, especially when validating data or formatting executive-level documents.
