Business Development Manager

Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and pro-active individual to join the Ireland Business Development team. The successful candidate will support the Business Development Executives in Ireland with administrative tasks – organizational skills are required.

Job specification

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to performing and coordinating a variety of administrative duties and tasks including:

Salesforce Administration

  • Support the Ireland sales team in updating all relevant information in Salesforce with respect to both opportunities, influencer, client and prospect engagement and tracking activity and progress on sales campaigns.
  • Support the Ireland sales team to ensure that all team information is 100% correct all the time.
  • To liaise with relevant entities and stakeholders to ensure dashboards are accurately reflected in Salesforce.
  • Support the Ireland Sales team to navigate sales opportunities through Salesforce timeously.

Elevate Support

  • Support the Ireland Sales Team to populate the various Business Review Committee (“BRC”) and Elevate (global approval) documentation are completed for review by the opportunity lead
  • To navigate all opportunities successfully and timeously through the Elevate Process.

Proposal Support

  • To prepare appropriately targeted Client Proposals for signing off by Sales Team and the Elevate process.

Research

  • To assist with Client and Market Intelligence gathering.

General Administration

  • To assist the outreach to prospects
  • To assist with MQL responses
  • To assist with Calendar and Meeting management of the sales team
  • To assist with follow ups and meetings notes

Skills Required:

Core Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required
  • Communication Skills:
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Ability to effectively and professionally interact with senior executives at our prospects as well as internal stakeholders of various seniority levels

Organizational Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage the requirements of a number of sales executives in the region
  • Prioritizing tasks, deadlines and requirements from the team
  • Attention to detail:
  • Ensuring accurate data entry and reporting
  • Attention to detail in communication to prospects and reporting and dashboard reviews
  • Ensuring accurate proposals with correct prospect information, fee lines (in line with rate card and prospect requirements) and overall professionalism of the proposal, including formatting, etc.
  • Client Centric Approach:
  • Assisting with prompt resolution and/or responses to prospects

Technical Skills:

  • A background in Funds and Sales experience will be advantageous
  • Software:
  • Experience with Salesforce not required, but will be advantageous
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Other:

  • Teamwork is essential – collaboration with the team, CRM’s, operations and counterparts in other jurisdictions
  • Adaptability: business development is high pressure and with a number of sales executives to support priorities can often overlap or change quickly. Multi-tasking and prioritising is essential
  • Ability to work independently
