The Role 
We're looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager (Geointelligence) to help expand our presence across Ireland, develop new customer relationships, and create opportunities that deliver value across our wider transport portfolio. 
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys opening new doors, building strategic partnerships, and working at the intersection of transport, analytics, technology and commercial growth. You'll play a key role in driving new business while leading and supporting an established account management team, helping customers unlock the power of transport data and digital solutions.  
What you will do 

Business Development & Growth 

  • Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the Ireland market.
  • Promote GeoIntelligence services including GIS, spatial analytics, Earth Observation, location intelligence, environmental data and digital transformation solutions.
  • Develop opportunities that support both GeoIntelligence services and the wider Tracsis portfolio.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with stakeholders across transport, infrastructure, environmental, utilities, asset management, public sectorand consultancy organisations.
  • Support the growth of recurring revenue through subscriptions, frameworks, software licences and ongoing service agreements.
Customer Relationships & Account Development 
  • Develop trusted relationships with customers at operational, technical and strategic levels.
  • Understand customer challenges, priorities and objectives to identify solutions that deliver value.
  • Support long-term account growth and customer retention strategies.
  • Act as a key commercial contact for GeoIntelligence-related opportunities.
  • Share customer and market insights internally to support continuous improvement and innovation.
One Tracsis Collaboration 
  • Work closely with the Transport Data Account Executive and wider Commercial team to identify shared opportunities.
  • Support strategic account development across multiple service lines.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities between GeoIntelligence, Transport Data and other Tracsis offerings.
  • Collaborate with delivery, product, technical and marketing teams to develop integrated customer solutions.
  • Champion a collaborative "OneTracsis" approach across the business.
Pipeline & Opportunity Management 
  • Maintain accurate and structured sales pipeline.
  • Keep CRM records up to date, including opportunity progress, forecasts and next steps.
  • Support proposal, tender and bid activities alongside subject matter experts.
  • Contribute to forecasting, pipeline reviews and commercial planning.
Market Insight & Innovation 
  • Identify emerging customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Support the adoption of Tracsis products, platforms and analytics capabilities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, procurement frameworks and regulatory developments.
  • Contribute to the development of new propositions, case studies and go-to-market strategies.

What We're Looking For 
Essential Experience & Skills 

  • Experience in business development, account management or a customer-facing commercial role.
  • Background in geospatial services, GIS, spatial analytics, data analytics, environmental services, infrastructure, transport, consultancy or a related sector.
  • Ability to develop new business opportunities and convert pipeline activity into revenue.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders across complex customer environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems, managing sales pipelines and supporting forecasting activities.

Desirable 
  • Experience working with public sector organisations, transport agencies, local authorities, utilities, environmental bodies or infrastructure providers.
  • Experience working across Ireland, the UK or European markets.
  • Knowledge of software, SaaS, platform, subscription or licence-based commercial models.
  • Understanding of public sector procurement frameworks and tender processes.
