Account Director / Business Development Manager

Location: Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham.

We’re looking for a driven and commercially sharp Business Development Manager/Account Director to help us grow our footprint across the UK market. This is a key role focused on winning new business from enterprise organisations (1,000 users+), whilst continuing to develop and grow those client relationships over time.

About us:

We are an award-winning cybersecurity consultancy, trusted by leading organisations and partnering at the highest level with top-tier vendors including Microsoft, Broadcom/Symantec, Palo Alto Networks, Abnormal, Axonius, Vectra, Wiz etc.

Renowned for delivering services of exceptional quality, we pride ourselves on our technical and client-first approach.

The Role

  • New client acquisition: You’ll lead the charge in identifying, engaging, and bringing on board new clients across a range of industries in the Midlands and part of the North.
  • Account development: Take charge of accounts post-sale to deepen relationships, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and ensure long-term success
  • Market expansion: You’ll use your existing network and market understanding to help shape and expand our presence.
  • Relationship management: Work closely with senior stakeholders, offering a consultative approach rather than a one-size-fits-all pitch.
  • Strategic sales planning: You’ll contribute insights to our wider sales and marketing strategy, feeding back what you’re hearing from the market.

About You

  • Proven sales experience: You’ve spent at least 5 years in B2B sales, ideally selling to enterprise clients in the UK market.
  • Portfolio builder: You know how to build a book of business from the ground up and have done it before.
  • Well-connected: You already have a solid network within the landscape and are comfortable opening doors.
  • Commercially astute: You think strategically, ask the right questions, and are focused on long-term value. Not just quick wins.
  • Technically savvy: You are comfortable with sales tech to help maximise your effectiveness.
  • Self-starter: You work with autonomy, and make things happen.

Why Join Threatscape?

  • Work with cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions and a varied and evolving portfolio of services.
  • Work with technical teams that have won multiple awards, including 5 x Microsoft Partner of the Year for Security and Compliance.  Our team’s accreditations put us in the top 10 of Microsoft and Broadcom partners globally (4x Microsoft MVPs and 2x Symantec knights)
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment where your input is valued - helping to drive continued improvement in the way we operate.
  • Opportunity to grow and develop your career as we scale the business
  • Competitive salary and commission structure (uncapped)
