ROLE DESCRIPTION

Due to our growth we are seeking London Market Consultants to deliver a range of exciting projects across the London Market. We are seeking people with deep expertise and knowledge of the London Market and you will be joining a strong team.  The role will include the following, depending on experience:

  • Supporting client discussions and the preparation of proposals
  • Developing insightful thinking on the London Market and conducting marketing activities
  • Managing stakeholder expectations associated with complex business and technology projects
  • Undertaking a range of transformation activities including project management and business and data analysis, and
  • Leading joint Capco and client teams.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Candidates are required to have the following experience / knowledge:

  • London Market participants, both Lloyd’s of London and Companies market (syndicates, insurers, reinsurers, brokers, MGAs etc.)
  • Proven track record of delivering large scale programme initiatives, reporting directly to senior stakeholders and managing multiple teams
  • Business (UW, claims, reinsurance etc.) and IT (e-trading, policy admin etc.)
  • London Market processing (policy, claims)
  • Data, from data governance through to modelling and the use of analytics
  • Understanding of the project lifecycle including strategy, target operating model development, design, project management, business analysis, system implementation and the development of client deliverables
  • Market modernisation initiatives e.g. Future at Lloyd’s, new e-trading platforms, automation / RPA.

The preferred candidate(s) will be expected to:

  • Be a self-motivator working in a team of Capco and client colleagues
  • Work closely with stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) to perceive new and better ways of working
  • Help to drive the use of Agile methodologies to help the client organisation become more agile
  • Recommend areas for change and then provide support to the business as the changes develop to ensure continuous improvement, and
  • Collaborate with all parts of the business including 3rd parties
