Role Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the delivery of strategic initiatives within the banking sector. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to analyze requirements, improve processes, and ensure successful implementation of regulatory and technology-driven changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, risk, compliance, and IT teams
- Translate business needs into clear specifications for technical teams
- Support end-to-end project delivery, from initiation through implementation
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process mapping (AS-IS / TO-BE)
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, AML, Basel)
- Participate in UAT planning, execution, and defect management
- Support change management activities, including documentation and training materials
- Monitor project progress and assist in risk and issue management
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder communication
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services
- Experience in developing digital banking application
- Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and regulations
- Experience working on regulatory, risk, or digital transformation projects
- Ability to bridge business and IT stakeholders effectively
- Knowledge of requirements management and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with GRC, risk, or compliance-related initiatives
- Knowledge of payments, lending, or capital markets
- Understanding of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI)
- Certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum)
