What you will do

At Silent Aire, we’re redefining how data centres are built. As a BIM Designer, you will be at the forefront of modular design innovation, shaping the future of mission-critical infrastructure. How you will do it

  • Lead the creation and coordination of high-detail BIM models for modular data centre projects using Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM tools
  • Drive clash detection and ensure seamless integration of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
  • Develop BIM Execution Plans aligned with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Generate precise drawings, schedules, and documentation for off-site fabrication and on-site assembly.
  • Manage model data integrity, including COBie attributes and asset tagging for facility management.
  • Champion digital workflows and data-driven design processes to boost modular construction efficiency.
  • Collaborate with design team, project managers, manufacturing team, and stakeholders to meet deadlines and quality requirements

What We Look For

  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ BIM experience in data centres or modular construction.
  • Advanced skills in Revit, Navisworks, and familiarity with BIM 360 or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of modular design principles, off-site fabrication processes and data centre infrastructure requirements..
  • Understanding of ISO 19650, PAS standards, and local building codes.
  • Strong BIM modelling and coordination skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable Extras

  • AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor experience.
  • Familiarity with COBie data and LOD 400–500 modelling and asset management.
  • Background in mission-critical facilities.
