Bid ManagerWhat does a successful Bid Manager do?
A successful Bid Manager at Fiserv partners in possibility by turning client needs into compelling, compliant proposals that win business and enable clients to serve their customers better. You will operate at the centre of Sales Operations, working across sales, product, delivery and finance to deliver high-quality RFP/RFI/proposal responses on time. You will champion the customer perspective, drive clarity in solution and pricing inputs, and support a smooth handover to project delivery. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team that values innovation and excellence.
What you will do:
Lead cross-functional bid teams to manage the end-to-end bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification to submission and handover
Manage timelines, approval gates, deliverables and bid governance to ensure on-time, high-quality submissions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales, product, delivery, legal and finance stakeholders
Challenge and validate inputs using the customer lens to strengthen the deal story and mitigate risk
Write, edit and proof proposals, technical responses and pitch materials with meticulous attention to detail
Create deal storyboards, win themes, unique selling propositions and competitor assessments
Coordinate internal reviews, pricing inputs and contractual pre-checks for compliant responses
Capture lessons learned and improve bid templates, content libraries and processes
What you will need to have:
Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous RFPs and tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication and meticulous proofreading and editorial skills
Demonstrated success in proposal development and RFP/RFI response preparation
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and comfortable using proposal management or CRM tools
What would be great to have:
APMP Foundation qualification
Previous bid management or pre-sales experience in payments or FinTech
Experience authoring technical and commercial proposal sections
Familiarity with legal and finance review processes and contract handover
Experience working across EMEA and with distributed virtual teams
