The AV Integration Lead is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of audio-visual systems across organizational facilities. This role ensures seamless integration of AV technologies in line with project requirements and company standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record in AV systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end AV system integration projects including planning, execution, testing, and commissioning.

  • Collaborate with project managers, IT teams, architects, and vendors to ensure AV requirements are met.

  • Supervise AV installation teams and subcontractors, providing guidance and quality control.

  • Interpret AV system schematics, wiring diagrams, and floor plans.

  • Program and configure AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX) and DSPs (e.g., Biamp, QSC, BSS).

  • Conduct system tests, troubleshooting, and final commissioning of AV systems.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including system drawings, configuration files, and manuals.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and internal staff.

  • Stay updated with emerging AV technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in AV integration, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of AV technologies, signal flow, and integration practices.

  • Experience with AV control systems and video conferencing platforms (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, etc.).

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting AV system drawings and technical documentation.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, D-Tools, or similar AV design software.

  • Experience in enterprise, education, or hospitality AV environments.

  • Networking knowledge (basic IP, VLANs, PoE) is a plus.
