About this role
We are seeking a Legal Operations Associate to join the Legal Operations team within the Legal & Compliance COO Team. The role will be located in Wilmington Delaware or Atlanta Office and will report into the Global Head of Legal Ops and Business Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the legal department.
- Project Management: Assist in managing legal projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage legal technology tools to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into legal operations and metrics.
- Best Practices: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in legal operations and recommend innovative solutions
- Communication and Collaboration: work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties (e.g., vendors, outside counsel)
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in legal operations, project management, or a similar role.
- Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in legal technology tools and software, specifically experience with CounselLink E-billing platform preferred. Highly proficient in excel.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- Proficient with all word products with an emphasis on Excel functionality
- Experience using CounselLink E-billing platform is preferred
- Strong Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Strong Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently but understand when to escalate issues
