GLG is seeking driven candidates for our Korean Speaking Associate position on our Asia Global Servicing team in Dublin, Ireland. Associate’s help to drive GLG’s business model and develop our client base – professionals at the world’s top corporations, investment firms, management consultancies, and non -profits – through close coordination with members of the APAC Client Solutions team to fulfil client’s primary research needs. Associates are responsible for delivering GLG’s underlying business processes, fulfilling timely client research requests, assisting senior team members with high-level product execution.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Project Support: Supporting the APAC Client Solutions team and more senior team members on all aspects of client engagements on a day-to-day basis.
  • Collaboration: Partnering with senior colleagues daily to qualify and understand our clients’ needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Relationship management: Engaging Council Members daily to understand their capabilities and knowledge on specific client requests
  • Recruitment: Recruiting new senior executives and leading consultants into the GLG Councils membership.
  • Compliance: Navigate complex compliance requirements and operational procedures that differ across a wide pool of clients, therein representing GLG’s key value proposition.
  • Target Oriented: Meeting and exceeding monthly goals and metrics on multiple high priority projects, at any given time
  • Accountability: Maintaining accountability and responsibility for client projects and the overall client experience.
  • Communication: Professional business communication, both written and verbal as the role requires communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Fluency in Korean and English is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • Six months to two years of experience in client-facing, account management or analyst roles in relevant industries such as banking, business services, market research, consultancies, and financial services, etc.
  • Passion for client service, especially with experience in phone-based professional communication.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated oral and written abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment and attention to detail, ideally in a high -volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and desire to learn about new topics.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships across the full professional spectrum including senior colleagues and extremely senior outside professionals.
  • Strong desire to work in a collaborative environment.

  • Develop strong, transferable business skills – including client service excellent, professionalism communication, client and account management, time management, problem solving, project management.

  • Collaborate with colleagues on and across teams to exceed client expectations.

Career Progression

As you develop and demonstrate best-in-class client servicing and project execution skills, you will have the opportunity to progress to Senior Associate, where you will support on projects of more varying size and complexity, and get the opportunity to coach junior professionals on your team alongside your Team Leader.
