Position Title: Associate Business Development Manager (Associate Relationship Manager) - Ireland
Business Unit: Global Capital Markets ("GCM")
Reporting to: Head of Relationship Management - EMEA
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Position Summary:
The Associate RM will play a key supporting role in the delivery of GCM's client relationship management strategy in EMEA. This position is designed to assist the RM Directors in managing client engagement activities, planning, and analysis, while also taking ownership of smaller client relationships to build and grow them over time. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to ensure exceptional client service and business development outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing client and business partner events, ensuring alignment with GCM's relationship management objectives.
- Quarterly Planning: Support the development of quarterly client engagement plans and targets, including scheduling meetings and tracking progress against set KPIs.
- Market & Target Analysis: Conduct research and analytics on market trends, competitor activity, and identify potential target clients.
- Meeting Setup: Coordinate and schedule client and intermediary meetings, ensuring all logistics and materials are prepared in advance.
- Relationship Management: Take ownership of a small portfolio of client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and driving engagement, problem solving and promoting new business activity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local intermediaries and professional advisors.
- Reporting & Tracking: Maintain accurate records in Commercial Salesforce to track client interactions, pipeline opportunities, and progress against relationship goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the RM Directors and commercial teams to support broader strategic initiatives.
- Client Care Plans: Contribute to the execution of GCM's client care strategy, including monitoring client satisfaction and supporting initiatives to enhance NPS scores.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in capital markets and a client-facing role.
- A proven self-starter who uses initiative to strengthen client relationships and drive revenue growth from existing client base.
- Has pipeline conversion examples, i.e. helping to turn a prospective client into an existing client within the CSC business.
- Extensive experience of delivering exceptional client service.
- Existing network of business partners with proven experience of delivering pipeline from this network.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret market data.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
