In this role, you will:

Report to the Sr District Manager, this is a key developmental position where you will be responsible for leading customer retention and revenue growth within your territory of restaurants in Ireland. This role provides direct mentorship and structured career progression within the OpenTable sales team.

In your role, you will be in tune with the local restaurant industry and will proactively engage with our restaurant customers. The Associate Account Manager (AAM) is a customer-facing role focused on retention, product adoption, and revenue growth across a defined book of restaurants in Ireland. This position serves as the foundational starting point for career development within our sales organization and reports to the Senior District Manager.

Successful Associate Account Managers will meet and exceed goals on a monthly, bi-annually, and annual basis By managing a defined book of small-to-mid-sized accounts with a focus on proactive retention and growth motions. Meeting your goals is centred around your ability to:

  • Work closely with customers to increase product and feature adoption, improve their online availability and ultimately grow their business through our partnership.
  • Become a trusted adviser to our customers and influencing an ongoing retention of their business with us
  • Proactively identify opportunities for growth and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain an expert level of understanding of all products and services that OpenTable offers.
  • Proactively incorporate company strategies into your work and constantly be on the lookout for opportunities to increase your impact with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, sharing best practices and learning from others
  • Be highly visible and frequently face-to-face with our customers in the field. Excellent time management, ensuring a balance between on-site visits and virtual meetings to improve efficiency and impact.
  • Stay current with organisational changes, initiatives, and vision.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and key internal stakeholders 

Please apply if:

  • You are passionate about hospitality and technology. Restaurant management and/or sales experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not crucial.
  • You demonstrate a strong aptitude for business relationship development and strategic thinking
  • You have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • You are driven, honest and have an eagerness to learn
  • You are able to effectively influence and use data to guide your decisions
  • You’re self-motivated and have the grit vital to thrive against ambitious expectations.
  • You naturally communicate well, and can establish trust with people genuinely and quickly.
  • Proficient in use of Google Suite, and Salesforce CRM preferred but not crucial
