About the Job

Report to the Sr District Manager, this is a key developmental position where you will be responsible for leading customer retention and revenue growth within your territory of restaurants in Ireland. This role provides direct mentorship and structured career progression within the OpenTable sales team.

In your role, you will be in tune with the local restaurant industry and will proactively engage with our restaurant customers. The Associate Account Manager (AAM) is a customer-facing role focused on retention, product adoption, and revenue growth across a defined book of restaurants in Ireland. This position serves as the foundational starting point for career development within our sales organization and reports to the Senior District Manager.

Successful Associate Account Managers will meet and exceed goals on a monthly, bi-annually, and annual basis By managing a defined book of small-to-mid-sized accounts with a focus on proactive retention and growth motions. Meeting your goals is centred around your ability to:

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to a defined book of restaurant accounts, driving ongoing business retention and long-term partnership success.
  • Partner closely with customers to increase product adoption and optimize their online availability, ultimately driving growth for their business.
  • Identify and execute on proactive opportunities for upselling and revenue expansion within your territory.
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of all products and services to effectively align solutions with customer needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships by balancing impactful virtual meetings with highly visible, face-to-face engagements in the field.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to share best practices and seamlessly implement broader organizational strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional experience in customer-facing roles, relationship management, or sales.
  • Demonstrated experience in business relationship development and strategic thinking.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust authentically with diverse partners.
  • Analytical aptitude with the ability to effectively use data to guide decisions and influence outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or sales within the food and beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with or proficiency in utilizing Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience using Google Workspace in a professional setting.
  • Demonstrated passion for the hospitality and technology sectors.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The salary range for this role located in Ireland is €45,000-55,000.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for additional compensation and benefits in accordance with local law and company policy.
