Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will provide essential support to the project management team in overseeing various infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assists the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study, including determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion.
- Facilitates communication between project teams and clients to ensure project goals are met.
- Aids in the preparation of new proposals and presentations for clients.
- Schedules and prepares for meetings between the project team, clients, stakeholders, and authorities.
- Arranges and documents meetings with clients, stakeholders, and authorities.
- Coordinates with relevant authorities to obtain design approvals and NOCs.
- Prepares procurement documents to engage proposed subconsultants for the project.
- Ensures timely and accurate reporting of project progress.
- Collaborates with team members to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Completes tasks assigned by the Project Manager efficiently and promptly.
- Supports the proposal manager in preparing and delivering proposals.
- Assists in establishing the Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other required documents.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- min. 3 years related field engineering experience
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in both English and Arabic
- Proficient in using Engineering software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and SAP2000
- Knowledge of local and international standards, particularly ADQCC standards.
