Located at the European Divisional Support Centre (EDSC) in Irvine, Ayrshire, this is a 12-to-15-month placement and is available for Hybrid Working.
 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Reporting to the Application Engineering Supervisor, the successful applicant will work a team responsible for a range of the following key accountabilities:

  • Provide project support to the department as business needs dictate

  • Creation and supply of aftermarket nameplates to our European dealers

  • Provide technical support on production nameplates

  • Creation of renderings to support marketing communication of new options

  • Provide special bespoke option quotations support to our sale teams and dealers.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Candidates should be students, working towards a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.

  • Able to interpret basic mechanical engineering concepts.

  • Competent in MS365 Office packages.

  • Demonstrate strong teamworking and communication skills, proactivity and initiative and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.

DESIRABLE:

  • Previous experience in a customer facing role.

  • Experience using 3D CAD and/or rendering software.

The successful candidate will be subject to background screening.
