Leap Square is looking for a talented Application Developer to join our Technical SEO Team, taking full ownership of our iOS and Android applications. You’ll act as the central link between internal teams and external mobile development partners, ensuring that our apps perform flawlessly, meet security standards, and align with business goals. Objectives of this role
- Take full technical ownership of our iOS and Android apps across 18 brands, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and business alignment.
- Act as the primary bridge between internal teams and third-party app development partners to ensure smooth collaboration and timely delivery.
- Translate business and SEO requirements into clear, actionable development specifications for external partners.
- Maintain high standards of app security and reliability through regular audits, diagnostics, and incident response.
- Collaborate with SEO and content teams to incorporate mobile features that enhance SEO outcomes, such as structured metadata, app indexing, and behavioral insights.
- Explore and integrate AI-driven solutions that automate workflows and enhance technical SEO capabilities within mobile environments.
- Track and evaluate emerging technologies and development tools to continuously optimize our app ecosystem and development process.
- Foster a culture of technical innovation, early adoption, and cross-functional alignment within the Technical SEO team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full application lifecycle: design, development, deployment, monitoring, and optimization for both Android and iOS.
- Collaborate with external Android and iOS app development partners to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues, bugs, and potential security threats in mobile apps.
- Conduct routine audits, security reviews, and performance tuning.
- Track emerging mobile and AI technologies, and propose integration opportunities.
- Contribute to AI workflow projects supporting mobile and SEO goals.
Required skills and qualifications
- 3+ years of professional mobile development experience (iOS and Android).
- Proven success publishing apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Strong fluency in Swift, Kotlin, and cross-platform frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
- Excellent understanding of mobile security, performance optimization, and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to manage external vendors and align development with business strategy.
- Familiarity with programming languages like JavaScript or Python.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Experience integrating mobile apps with SEO features (e.g., AMP, app indexing, structured data).
- Previous involvement in SEO-related or data-driven marketing projects.
- Interest or hands-on experience with AI agent development or tools (e.g., n8n, LangChain, custom workflows).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, automated testing).
- Experience collaborating across departments and managing interdisciplinary projects.
- Designing application interfaces and wireframes
- Developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models
- Ensuring top-tier performance and user experience
- Debugging, profiling, and resolving performance problems
- Writing clean, readable, and testable code
- Collaborating closely with back-end developers and the broader team to deliver well-architected, high-quality solutions
