Job Description
About this job:
We are looking for an Appian Application Team Lead (100%) to join our Group IT Life and Health Underwriting and Claims application team and help drive the development and the adoption of software solutions using Appian Platform within PartnerRe. This role will be based in Dublin, working with our internal business stakeholders and IT teams on the global level.
About the role:
- Manage and coach a team of Appian Developers based in Dublin
- Work with the business and IT stakeholders to analyse, define, improve and evolve the existing solutions
- Manage the SDLC process of the responsible Appian-based applications
- Oversee, maintain, and improve the solutions in production to ensure ongoing performance, production availability, compliance to ITSM and change procedure, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications
About you:
- IT related university degree.
- Experience as Line Manager and Technical Lead/Architect related roles.
- Good English communication skills and get things done attitude to drive solution development, process optimization and simplification.
- 5+ years of experience in building workflow solutions using Appian platform.
- Experience in ITSM, and application production monitoring, debugging, impact analysis and defect fixing.
- Experience in Agile, and Azure DevOps environment.
- Knowledge in managing applications containing sensitive personal data with strict access and security compliance frameworks.
