Our PR programs are designed to raise the Finastra profile and share our vision around collaboration, open finance, Banking as a Service and innovative technologies such as generative AI, in a consistent and compelling way.
We are looking for a PR specialist who takes initiative and is confident juggling multiple projects as they design and manage regional programs for APAC (specific focus on Singapore as mentioned above). Excellent writing and communications skills are a must, as well as a desire to achieve great results when it comes to measuring success.
What will I do?
Managing PR for APAC, this role requires a proactive and collaborative individual to take responsibility for Finastra media relations in the region.
You will work closely with the wider PR team to devise, plan and execute regional programs that raise Finastra’s profile and see its spokespeople featured in key media outlets, as well as overseeing our PR agency in Singapore/ Hong Kong to achieve great results. There are potential opportunities to travel from time to time in support of this.
This important role is an opportunity to bring our story to a wide variety of audiences, including large banks, smaller banks and fintechs, and needs someone who can tailor content for regional requirements and understand different media preferences across APAC.
You will also work hand-in-hand with the business unit marketing teams to maximize PR opportunities based on local marketing plans to ensure the PR program is connected to our business goals.
The role includes, but isn’t limited to, planning and executing PR activities in region, drafting and distributing press announcements, creating and editing engaging content, overseeing media interactions and hosting interviews/media roundtables, managing the local PR agency, dealing with senior stakeholders, collaborating with many other Finastra teams – including social media, design, and many more – and reporting on PR results.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a passionate communicator to join an exciting financial technology company and make an impact on how our story is told.
