PeopleCert is seeking an AI Solutions Architect who will play a central role in shaping and delivering PeopleCert’s AI initiatives. You’ll manage the day-to-day work of the AI team, ensuring technical excellence, smooth collaboration, and alignment with the strategic vision set by the Head of AI Enablement. Acting as both architect and coordinator, you’ll design end-to-end systems, guide implementation, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and business-driven.
As an AI Solutions Architect, your tasks will include the following:
- Manage and coordinate the work of the AI team (ML, MLOps, Data, Azure development) to deliver high-impact projects.
- Define and own the solution architecture for AI systems integrated into enterprise applications and digital platforms.
- Translate business requirements and strategic objectives into actionable technical designs.
- Oversee integration of ML models and AI services into enterprise applications, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
- Establish technical standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for AI delivery.
- Act as the main technical liaison between business stakeholders and the AI engineering team.
- Stay ahead of AI/ML trends and recommend practical adoption paths for PeopleCert.
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree will be considered a plus.
- 3+ Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Manager in AI/ML-driven systems.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud and application architecture.
- Familiarity with MLOps, ML frameworks, and data engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI into enterprise-grade applications (ERP, CRM, digital platforms, or equivalent).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
- Excellent communication ability to work across business and technical domains.
- Excellent knowledge of English (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus) Extra languages desired.
- Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Nice-to-Have:
· Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks.
· Familiarity with regulatory compliance (GDPR, ISO standards, EU AI Act).
· Background in software development (C#, .NET, Python) to bridge architectural and hands-on work.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
- A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
- HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
- Financial background check
- Employment reference check.
- If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
