Job Title: Accounts Executive

Location: Dublin South East

Leading the multi-brand relationships for Guinness, Smirnoff, Carlsberg, Rockshore, Gordons, Bailey’s and many other leading brands, your mission is to grow sales with direct customers in the area. You are accountable for developing your territory, leveraging the Diageo service proposition to form strong partnerships with customers and their teams, helping them grow their businesses, while ensuring brand equity and best in class execution.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Achieve sales & distribution targets, along with all other strategic goals and objectives whilst guaranteeing Diageo and your brands’ image and awareness in your territory
  • Build and optimize journey plans to ensure a strong contact strategy for all customers in your geographic territory, having structured commercial visits (average 8 calls per day)
  • Build strong relationships and effectively support 100+ existing customers, carrying out regular business reviews, identify their needs and goals, creating growth plans and implementing solutions to develop their business and drive sustainable growth for Diageo within the On-Trade
  • Seek out & relentlessly pursue business development opportunities, driving the brand distribution strategy to increase the quality and quantity of customer partnerships on your territory
  • Accurately plan for opportunities and risks for your area, to ensure we react accordingly. Operate with a clear set of priorities, adjusting for opportunities and obstacles
  • Embrace Digital always, engage both internally and externally on key initiatives and projects, e.g. DiageoOne, Diageo’s ever evolving B2B ordering and account management platform. Leverage all tools available
  • Agree and implement promotional and marketing activity designed to generate sales growth and meet brand objectives with a critical focus on a sell-out approach with customers
  • Data management, ensure all data on your territory is accurate and up to date, inc. territory performance, customer contact details, digital savviness, new/closed outlets, etc
  • Promote and use all the business tools available to you, including Brand Activations, Grow With Guinness, Refrigeration Grants, SEAI surveys, In Outlet Training, to highlight just a few
  • Work as a team, collaborate effectively, bring a growth mindset to all that you do!

ABOUT YOU

  • University degree
  • Existing understanding of the beer and spirits market or high interest and passion for our products
  • Structured, take pride in delivering on time and always looking for solutions
  • Great communication skills, growth mindset, open personality, dedicated, an excellent teammate
  • Driver’s license
