What’s the scope?
As an Accounting & Compliance Manager, you will take the lead in coordinating the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements across 16 European countries. In this role, you will manage both Internal and External Audit activities, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
You will work closely with the Assistant Controller to resolve any accounting-related issues that arise during the audit process and ensure the timely and accurate completion of recurring statutory deliverables, such as statistics declarations and regulatory filings.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in accounting or auditing who is now seeking to transition into a more general, coordinating role. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting and auditing, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects across multiple countries.
Your responsibilities as our Accounting & Compliance Manager;

E2E statutory work supervision for 16 countries in EMEA: in charge of following all the differences between USGAAP leading ledger and treatments at Lgaap level. Ensure consistency, accuracy, compliance

Coordinate audit activities and ensure timely completion: 10 countries in scope for Audit, owner of the compliance calendar, reviewing deliverables before sending them for signature or to auditors

Internal Audit & Corporate Audit Follow Up: ensure support to Sox testing, addressing request and work on remediation action in case of findings

Other Accounting activities and statistical reporting: as part of EMEA Controller’s direct reports contributing to to create value among the accounting function, improving accuracy across statutory financials, benchmarking effectiveness
Skills for Success:

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience

Accounting experience at least 5 years
