An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accountant ii to join our Finance team on a fixed term contract. You will be responsible for the accounting, control and reporting of multiple European reporting entities.

As part of the GL team, you will:
- Accounting Close: Responsible for the preparation and review of various portions of the accounting close, including standards, manual journal entries, accrued expense and revenue functions
- Support the local Controller model for transactional accounting supporting the European Markets
- Ensure the monthly close cycle is completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare financial statements
- Support Local IFRS Audits as required
- Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts using Blackline Reconciliation System
- Financial Reporting using our Corporate Consolidation system (Workday)
- Provide auditors with detailed information and supporting documents for periodic reviews
- Execute monthly Sox controls and provide Sox team with detailed information and supporting documentation for our internal controls monthly
- Revenue accounting
- Recurring Entries
- Prepaid Journal Entries
- Accruals
About you:
- You will have a relevant degree is essential
- You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA)
- You will have a minimum of 2 years of previous finance/accountancy experience
- You will have a strong analytical and technical acumen
- You will have good computer skills
- You will have advanced Excel skills are a distinct advantage
- You will have excellent communication, collaborative and relationship building skills are essential
- You will be self-motivated and thrive in an environment with minimal supervision in order to maintain both personal and team effectiveness
- You manage and balance multiple deliverables to strict reporting deadlines
- You will have a strong focus on quality and continual improvement
