Job Summary

The Account Manager – PSF is a key client-facing role on GLG’s Professional Services Firms team that plays a vital part in GLG's relationships with leading consulting companies across the EMEA region. The Account Manager will work alongside senior account managers to develop both large and mid-sized partnerships by engaging client users within Professional Services Firms, helping them fully realise the value of GLG's platform. At GLG you will have both the opportunity to progress quickly and to also work in a collaborative environment.


Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Own a portfolio of large and mid-sized existing clients.
  • Proactively drive commercial success, develop account plans and engage with clients regularly to articulate the firm's value proposition and uncover new growth opportunities for GLG.
  • Build relationships across all seniority levels (e.g. Consultants, Managers, Partners, etc).
  • Own the user engagement funnel which includes client email outreach, client feedback meetings and QBR, as well as commercial negotiations and contracting activities.
  • Further develop the GLG's service offering and explore opportunities for new product and channel development
  • Engage regularly with internal stakeholders in sales, marketing, legal, client solutions, finance, technology, to solve complex business issues and successfully bring these capabilities to market
  • Collaborate with the Senior Account Managers on client related support requests, meetings, renewals, reporting, and presentations.

 

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 3+ years of work experience within an Account Management / Customer Success Role roles in relevant industries.
  • Experience in owning the full user engagement funnel.
  • Proven track record of developing account plans and securing successful renewals
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Executive presence, the ability to interact with senior executives and professionals
  • The highest level of integrity and professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, or equivalent work experience.
  • Full business proficiency in English. Additional languages such as French or German would be a bonus but not essential for this role.
